Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) seeks a strategic IT program leader at the intersection of technology delivery and business operations to align divisional IT initiatives with enterprise strategy. You will prioritize, analyze, plan, and execute IT strategies, while coordinating vendor relationships and executive communications.

This hybrid role can be located in Chicago, IL or Richardson, TX, with relocation not offered and sponsorship not available, including OPT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience OR 11 years of experience in project management, business analysis, process improvement, strategic planning, product administration or other relevant healthcare functions.
• Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends.
• Experience interpreting business and financial information.
• Verbal and written communications skills including establishing working relationships across departments, preparing presentations to senior management, and establishing team environment.
• Experience communicating with senior management and executive leadership from multiple divisions.
• Experience developing and delivering presentations to an executive audience.
• Experience managing and delegating assignments across multiple complex projects successfully in a matrixed environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and mentoring teams and more junior resources.
• Ability to independently drive and deliver scope of work.
• Able to operate in fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT Divisional efforts to prioritize, analyze, plan, and execute IT strategies in support of the business plan.
• Oversee and coordinate day-to-day activities of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and vendor relationships.
• Serve as a functional business liaison in development and implementation of key IT initiatives across divisions.
• Interact with senior and executive leadership to align IT and business priorities.
