Job summary

AlphaGov is seeking Senior IT Specialists for an on-call bench to support public-agency IT task orders. Engagements are remote-first with occasional client travel and may involve on-site work as needed.

Deliver senior-level IT support across systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data analytics, and cloud. You will produce task-order deliverables and coordinate with the on-call IT PM on scope, schedule, and quality. This role is project-based with potential for proposal contribution.

AlphaGov is seeking Senior IT Specialists for an on-call specialist bench supporting public-agency IT task orders. Engagements may cover general IT services and/or specialized technological and infrastructure-related support. Work is issued as task orders after contract award. One specialty posting covers multiple pursuits that need the same bench depth (systems, network, cybersecurity, data/analytics, cloud).

What you'll do:

• Deliver senior-level support in one or more specialties: systems, infrastructure/network, cybersecurity, data and analytics, cloud, project delivery
• Produce task-order deliverables to public-agency standards
• Coordinate with the on-call IT Program/Project Manager on scope, schedule, and quality
• Contribute specialist qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned

Required:

• Senior-level expertise in at least one scope category above
• Public-agency or large-organization experience
• Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed for client on-sites

Nice to have:

• Relevant vendor certifications / partner designations (Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, Oracle) matching your specialty
• Port/maritime or California public-agency IT experience
• Assignment history with scope/dates for your primary specialty
