Job summary

Capacity is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect to lead solution design and systems integration across ERP, WMS, OMS, and TMS platforms. You will shape cloud-enabled architectures, guide delivery teams, and ensure secure, scalable data exchanges with customers and vendors.

The role emphasizes leadership in technology strategy, collaboration with Operations and Finance, and governance to align investments with business goals. Knowledge of Azure/AWS and EDI/API integrations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience.
• 5+ years in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Applications, or Technical Architecture.
• Experience designing enterprise application integrations.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or transportation business processes.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, OMS and TMS platforms.
• Experience with REST APIs, EDI (X12/EDIFACT), middleware, and integration platforms.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or hybrid cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integrations between internal and external systems using APIs, EDI, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
• Support customer onboarding by designing integrations with customer ERP and supply chain systems.
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure reliable data exchange.
• Lead development following design blueprints and vendor specifications; deliver and roll out solutions.
• partner with Operations, Distribution, Transportation, Customer Service, and Finance to improve processes via technology.
• Support implementation and enhancement of WMS, TMS, Yard Management, Labor Management, and ERP platforms.
• Design cloud-based and hybrid solutions; ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
