Job summary

Inland Empire Health Plan is seeking an IT Specialist II - Service Desk to provide advanced remote support, incident management, and governance across enterprise applications. You will guide IT policy and drive efficiency in IT infrastructure services while coordinating with stakeholders and vendors.

You will operate in a healthcare setting, with emphasis on security, data integrity, and user productivity. The role requires strong technical and communication skills and a commitment to quality

Qualifications

• Four years of service desk experience required.
• Experience with Windows/macOS, Office suite and enterprise apps.
• Experience with ITSM tools and ticketing systems; hardware support experience.
• Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, Entra and enterprise apps.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.
• IT certifications or higher degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advanced technical support and incident management for complex production issues.
• Administer enterprise applications and manage configurations and access controls.
• Develop governance frameworks for endpoint management and security policies.
• Identify process gaps and drive automation using scripting and ServiceNow.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve software issues and enforce SLAs.
• Ensure security, compliance and access governance across systems.
• Create knowledge base articles and coach junior staff.
