Job summary

Amida Technology Solutions, a DC-based technology company, seeks an IT Security Manager to lead cybersecurity strategy, governance, and operations. The role includes protecting systems and data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing security posture across cloud and on-prem environments.

The successful candidate will report to the CFO and work three days per week in DC or Richmond, VA, driving incident response, risk management, and security awareness across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of IT security experience with 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Experience managing incident response and leading forensic investigations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT and physical office cybersecurity and hygiene practices for cloud environments and offices.
• Lead development and implementation of enterprise-wide security policies and standards (Google Workspace, AWS, Azure).
• Manage and mentor IT professionals and oversee incident response planning and execution.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2 and other regulations.
