Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. seeks an AVP of IT Security to lead enterprise cybersecurity, HIPAA compliance, and risk management across the health system. This executive role partners with Privacy, Compliance, and Audit teams to strengthen security controls.

You will chair the security committee, oversee policies, incidents, vendor assessments, and security awareness training, and drive a culture of security across campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; master’s preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of IT security experience with leadership.
• Licenses or certifications such as CISSP desired.

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain an enterprise IT security program.
• Chair hospital-wide security committee and report to boards.
• Serve as HIPAA Security Officer and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Develop risk assessment, prevention, detection, and response plans.
• Implement security policies, training, and awareness initiatives.
• Oversee incident investigations and breach remediation.
• Manage vendor security assessments and controls.
