Job summary

Make-A-Wish America is seeking an experienced Information Technology Security Specialist to design, implement, and manage security solutions across IAM, endpoint security, firewalls, and cloud security. This hands‑on role requires building robust security architectures and driving security initiatives across projects.

The position supports remote work nationwide with some travel, and includes comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and dedicated security leadership collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technology field or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of total experience with 2+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise information technology security solutions.
• Hands-on experience with endpoint security, network firewalls, email security gateways, content filtering, IAM, SSO, Windows servers and virtualization technology.

Responsibilities

• Design secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
• Manage/implement security solutions including IAM, endpoint security, firewalls, email security, content filtering and security awareness.
• Proficiency with risk assessment and vulnerability tools, monitoring, and cloud security.
