Job summary

USDM Life Sciences is seeking a Senior IT / Security Engineer to drive IT, information security, and GxP computerized-systems projects from planning to steady-state operations.

The role emphasizes project management, technical implementation (Okta/Entra ID, EDR, Microsoft 365/Azure, AWS), and strong communication with Quality, R&D, Finance and HR. On-site in Palo Alto, CA, 40 hours/week with occasional after-hours maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IS or related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on IT infra and/or information security engineering experience.
• Experience in at least two of: IAM concepts, endpoint management/EDR, 365/Azure or AWS security, network security, SIEM.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple IT and security projects end-to-end with planning, coordination, and delivery.
• Maintain Jira/Confluence portfolio with owners, dates and status; publish weekly updates.
• Coordinate vendors/MSP/MSSP and consultants; track deliverables against SOWs.
