Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a Senior IT Security Analyst to serve as a compliance authority across MDCR, MCSC, and MiLEAP applications, focusing on SSPs, DRPs, and NIST-aligned controls. You will lead an ATO renewal process and coordinate cross-functional teams to maintain secure, auditable systems.

Responsibilities span risk assessment, remediation planning, and incident response, with mentoring and enterprise governance support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cyber security, Information Assurance, Business Analytics, or IT Related Field OR 5 years of experience
• Advanced Degrees preferred: Master’s in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Information Systems / IT Leadership, or an MBA with IT concentration
• Educational or professional knowledge of NIST Framework and Controls is a must
• Strong aptitude for written and oral communication
• Strong documentation skills
• Can collaborate cross-functionally

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update System Security Plans (SSPs) in line with NIST and standards.
• Lead and coordinate Authority to Operate (ATO) renewal process and ensure continuous compliance.
• Ensure applications maintain a valid ATO on a 3-year cycle and update security controls.
• Review risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to address POA&Ms and other compliance needs.
• Provide senior-level support across MDCR, MCSC & MiLEAP with standardized security plan updates.
