Job summary

Delaware Nation Industries, Arlington, VA, seeks a senior IT security professional to implement, test, and monitor security controls across Windows and cloud environments. You will design baselines, automate with PowerShell, and coordinate with vendors to enhance incident response capabilities.

You must have a active Secret clearance and a track record in Secure IT infrastructures, including operational support and recovery planning, to meet government standards.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience of system administration and implementing security controls.
• Strong knowledge of systems, networking software, hardware and protocols.
• Ability to evaluate and configure vendor products for security and functionality.
• Background in traditional and non-traditional IT infrastructures in Microsoft environments.
• Experience with host-based and network security tools, alerts, and incident response.
• Experience with cloud environments (IaaS and SaaS) and continuous monitoring.
• Familiarity with SIM and SIEM tools, UBA, anti-malware, and secure baselines.
• Active Secret Security Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced IT security knowledge to evaluate IT products and services.
• Test and implement security controls for compatibility with standards and mission needs.
• Monitor task and project status with the datacenter operations team.
• Create SOPs, project plans, and work breakdown structures for implementations.
• Provide asset management of devices across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware/software configurations.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and provisioning.
• Document secure baseline configurations across technologies.
• Develop system recovery and backup strategies.
• Collaborate with vendors to assess security plans and mitigations.
• Test product releases to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility.
• Complete vulnerability scans and implement corrective actions.
• Support system security plans and FedRAMP/FISMA processes.
