Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet in Houston is seeking a Senior IT Security Analyst to safeguard enterprise systems across corporate and manufacturing environments. You will lead Splunk administration, monitoring, threat detection, and incident response, leveraging SIEM and log management to detect threats and support compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, and HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, SOC, or information security roles.
• Experience creating and managing Splunk dashboards, correlation rules, alerts, reports, and searches using SPL.
• Strong understanding of SIEM concepts, log management, threat detection, and security event analysis.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Splunk environment, including data onboarding, parsing, indexing, dashboards, alerting, and reporting.
• Develop, tune, and maintain Splunk correlation searches, security use cases, alerts, and dashboards to enhance threat detection.
• Perform daily security monitoring and analysis of logs from network, endpoint, cloud, and systems.
• Investigate, analyze, and respond to security incidents, including triage and remediation.
