Job summary

D.R. Horton is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to lead IT security efforts and handle daily security tasks. You will work across IT Operations and Development to address vulnerabilities, perform forensic investigations, and ensure secure patching across servers and workstations.

You will mentor Security Analysts, coordinate with administrators, and communicate findings to stakeholders while maintaining a strong security posture across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in an IT-related field.
• Advanced knowledge of IT Security Operations and Forensic Operations.
• Advanced knowledge of IT Networking and Network Security Operations.
• Advanced knowledge of IT Infrastructure and Applications.
• Advanced knowledge of Cyber Attackers and Threat Actor tactics.
• Advanced project management and delegation.
• Advanced business communication and collaboration skills.
• Able to interpret research into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT security efforts and address daily tasks and routine processes.
• Coordinate with Security Analysts and Administrators on security investigations.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
• Oversee patch management and vulnerability remediation across company systems.
• Conduct forensic investigations and security monitoring activities.
• Mitigate and respond to network attacks including DDoS.
• Collaborate with IT Operations and Development teams for deployments.
• Mentor and train Security Analysts and Administrators.
