Job summary

Workday’s BT Risk Management team seeks a seasoned GRC leader to drive governance, risk and compliance initiatives across Security, Cloud Operations, IT, Development, Infrastructure and Compliance to ensure Secure by Design practices.

The role focuses on assessing security issues, communicating impacts to business management, and coordinating remediation actions and timelines with stakeholders. You’ll build trusted partnerships with executive leaders and shape enterprise-wide risk strategies.

Qualifications

• 12+ years experience in GRC, leading GRC initiatives, developing and maintaining GRC frameworks.
• 12+ years of experience supporting organizational compliance in applicable laws and regulations.
• 12+ years of experience in GRC platforms, risk management tools, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Program Development and Implementation: Collaboration cross functionally to design, develop, and launch new initiatives to promote governance, risk, and compliance awareness, education, and standardize methodologies across the organization
• Organizational Engagement: Build strong partnerships with business leaders, security partners, and employees to foster a collaborative and supportive environment
• Metrics and Evaluation: Establish Outcome-Driven Metrics (ODMs) to measure the effectiveness of the culture transformation program and continuously refine initiatives based on data-driven insights and organizational feedback
• Change Management: Lead change management efforts to overcome resistance and drive adoption of new security behaviors and processes. Review and enhance compliance strategy, including controls and procedures, with regards to industry trends and upcoming regulatory activity.
