The University of Alaska in Fairbanks is seeking a Senior IT Risk & Compliance Analyst to guide risk management, policy, and governance across UA's 20+ locations. Based in Fairbanks, you will join the GRC team to strengthen compliance and protect data.

This senior role requires translating complex requirements into enforceable policies, coordinating with IT, legal, and academic departments, and traveling as needed to support statewide initiatives.

Competenze

• Master's degree in a relevant field and 4 years progressively responsible experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Two or more relevant IT, risk, audit, and/or cybersecurity certifications at time of hire (preferred) or within one year of hire.
• Travel required.

Mansioni

• Guide risk, compliance, and governance across UA's 20+ locations statewide.
• Shape policy and guide risk decisions for the University of Alaska.
• Partner with departments across the university to protect student, research, and institutional data.
• Work with the Governance, Risk, and Compliance team to improve the university's compliance posture and coordinate statewide initiatives.
