Clarity Partners is hiring a Project Portfolio Analyst in Chicago, IL. The role will establish and enhance IT project and portfolio management practices, oversee lifecycle standards, and coordinate reporting to align initiatives with scope, schedule, and budget.

Ideal candidates bring strong project management, analytical, and communication skills, with collaboration across technical and business teams. This is an onsite position reporting to the PMO in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years IT project management experience preferred.
• PMI/PMBOK-style governance experience or PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and continuously improve IT project and portfolio management best practices, policies, procedures, and processes.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria with senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Direct and manage projects through full lifecycle from planning to post-project evaluation.
• Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource estimates.
• Track milestones, budgets, resources, risks, and portfolio performance.
• Develop KPI definitions and resource allocation methodologies.
• Deliver status reports, requirements documentation, and executive updates.
• Identify risks and issues, propose contingency plans and corrective actions.
