Job summary

ZT Systems seeks a Sr. IT Project Manager (Systems) to plan, execute, and deliver complex IT projects in an in-office setting in Secaucus, NJ, bridging business goals with technical delivery and guiding cross-functional teams to success.

The role requires 3+ years of dedicated PM experience (infrastructure or enterprise apps), PMP preferred, and strong knowledge of Waterfall/Agile, data centers, security concepts, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, information science, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• PMP certification is highly preferred (or must be obtained within 18 months of hire).
• 3+ years of dedicated project management experience, specifically managing Infrastructure or Enterprise Application projects.
• Knowledgeable in project management principles and practices (Waterfall, Agile, etc.).
• Knowledgeable and understanding of IT functions and data center operations, including: systems/storage architecture, application and user systems, security concepts, networking architecture.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, manage, and close IT projects, ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to scope, and alignment with budget and schedule constraints.
• Develop complex project plans, encompassing resources, timelines, milestones, and budgets, and share them with project stakeholders.
• Manage project scope by identifying and addressing changes during the project lifecycle through proper change management.
• Coordinate with resources to ensure the timely completion of all project tasks.
• Implement risk management strategies to minimize project risks and develop contingency plans when necessary.
