SmartestEnergy is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager - Retail Energy to lead and oversee complex IT projects within the energy sector. You will plan, execute and deliver projects on time, within scope and budget, working with cross-functional teams and senior management.

The role requires 10+ years in software development, data architecture, and leadership of cross-functional teams, plus 3+ years in Retail Energy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in software development, application and data architecture with leadership of cross-functional teams.
3+ years of Retail Energy experience.
Strong knowledge of system design, cloud computing, security principles and modern development frameworks.
Proven leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution: develop and manage project plans with timelines and resources.
Stakeholder Management: engage with business units, IT teams, and external vendors.
Risk Management: identify and mitigate project risks.
Budget Management: monitor and manage project budgets.
