Job summary

CAI in the United States is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead technology projects from initiation through closure, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality. This contract role offers remote work and requires strong stakeholder communication and experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

You will collaborate with sponsors and cross-functional teams, define objectives and risks, monitor plans, and ensure governance standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive project management experience.
• Experience managing large engineering projects through full lifecycle.
• Proficiency with project governance, risk management, and change control.
• Experience using MS Project or Planisware and Agile/Waterfall.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT projects from initiation through closure within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop charters, objectives, deliverables, budgets, and schedules with sponsors.
• Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and changes.
• Communicate status to stakeholders, PMOs, and leadership.
• Coordinate staffing with functional managers and ensure governance standards.
• Facilitate risk mitigation, issue resolution, and change control processes.
• Track financials and forecasts across fiscal periods.
• Collaborate to realize project benefits and business value.
• Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and best practices.
• Lead closeout activities with project summaries and leadership reviews.
