PRIORITY Quality Consultants, on behalf of its client, a well-established IT company, seeks a Senior IT Project Manager to oversee complex public-sector IT projects from initiation to closure. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage risks, and maintain strong client communications in a dynamic environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of IT project management experience, with excellent English and Greek communication skills.

  • At least 7 years of IT Project Management experience.
  • Strong planning, coordination, risk and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English and Greek, both written and spoken.

PRIORITY Quality Consultants, on behalf of its client, a well-established and growing IT company specializing in the design and implementation of large-scale digital transformation projects, is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join its team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing complex IT projects within the public sector, managing the entire project lifecycle from initiation and planning to execution, delivery, and closure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex IT projects for public sector organizations, ensuring timely delivery within the agreed scope, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related matters, maintaining effective communication with clients, government authorities, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks and challenges, and implement appropriate mitigation and corrective actions.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, address project-related issues, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications for technical teams.
  • Prepare and deliver project status reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective coordination across multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of proven experience in IT Project Management, ideally involving complex or large-scale IT implementations.
  • Strong project planning, coordination, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and operate professionally in complex and sensitive environments.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
  • Previous experience managing IT projects for public sector organizations.
  • Familiarity with public procurement procedures, government IT projects, or EU-funded digital transformation initiatives.
  • Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, and functional specifications.
  • Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies.
