Job summary

Inabia Software & Consulting Inc. is assisting the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in filling a Senior IT Project Manager role.

The position focuses on supporting the Strategic Portfolio Management Office and expanding capabilities around project, portfolio, and agile management using a new PPM tool. The selected candidate will lead process definition, piloting, rollout, and enterprise adoption while training PMOs through guidance and documentation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years IT project management experience in a PM role.
• 3+ years experience in program/portfolio/agile management.
• Experience with software testing, user training, and developing user guides or documentation.
• High proficiency in project scheduling using Microsoft Project or a similar enterprise PPM tool.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communication, facilitation, training, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to support primarily remote work with occasional onsite attendance in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers in adopting project planning/scheduling with Microsoft Project or enterprise PPM tools.
• Conduct demonstrations, office hours, and one-on-one sessions to help users utilize project scheduling features.
• Support rollout and adoption of project change workflows within the PPM tool.
• Apply PPM expertise to configure portfolio, program, and agile management modules.
• Collaborate with the SDLC team from requirements through testing.
• Lead pilot implementations and enterprise rollout of new PPM capabilities.
• Develop and deliver training materials, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
• Support decentralized PMOs in adopting standardized PM processes.
• Contribute to governance committees to assess and prioritize tool enhancements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
