The incumbent will guide large teams, develop schedules, manage budgets, and maintain key documentation while engaging with Executive-level stakeholders across the program.

Qualifications

• 84+ months: guidance to large teams and extensive industry experience at the top of the field.
• 84 months: experience managing multiple IT projects with exec-level interactions.
• 60 months: scheduling in Microsoft Project.
• 60 months: PMBOK-based project management with defined processes and templates.
• 48 months: SDLC or in-house application development projects.
• 36 months: projects for New York State agencies.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Manage project using a PMBOK-based methodology with defined processes and templates.
• Prepare and manage Project Management Plan including scope, schedule, budget and risk.
• Prepare documents such as presentations and meeting materials.
• Track project performance to ensure goals are met.
• Identify and facilitate communications with stakeholder groups.
• Use formal project change process and communicate changes with stakeholders.
