Job summary

BrickRed Systems seeks a Senior IT Project Manager with strong Oracle EBS experience to lead enterprise upgrade initiatives. You will manage end-to-end Oracle EBS upgrades, coordinate multiple workstreams, and drive all phases from planning through post-go-live stabilization.

The role requires hands-on leadership of ERP upgrades, advanced governance, and collaboration with global teams across time zones. Expect complex stakeholder engagement and rigorous delivery metrics.

Qualifications

• 8–11 years of IT Project/Program Management experience.
• Hands-on experience leading at least two full-lifecycle Oracle EBS upgrades or major Oracle EBS transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience managing complex ERP/application upgrades involving multiple workstreams, integrations, business functions, and technical dependencies.
• Strong understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, modules, integrations, customizations, environments, and upgrade dependencies.
• Experience with impact assessments, customization remediation, integration testing, regression testing, UAT, performance testing, cutover, deployment, and hypercare.
• Proven experience managing large cross-functional teams and complex enterprise projects.
• Expertise in project planning, RAID management, dependency management, change control, cutover planning, and executive reporting.
• Experience managing implementation partners, consulting organizations, and third-party vendors.
• Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, facilitation, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of SDLC, release management, testing methodologies, and IT change-control processes.
• Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end Oracle EBS upgrade lifecycle, including planning, design, build, testing, deployment, hypercare, and closure.
• Develop and manage integrated project plans covering milestones, critical paths, resources, budgets, dependencies, and schedules.
• Establish and maintain project governance, status reporting, decision-making, escalation processes, change control, and RAID management.
• Coordinate Oracle EBS application, database, infrastructure, integration, security, customization, environment, and third‑party activities.
• Lead testing governance across SIT, regression, performance, security, and UAT, including defect management and business readiness.
• Develop and execute cutover plans, mock cutovers, go/no-go criteria, production deployment, command-center activities, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Facilitate executive steering committees, governance meetings, and cross-functional workstream discussions.
• Coordinate internal teams, contractors, Oracle resources, implementation partners, and third-party vendors to ensure delivery commitments are met.
• Manage project financials, forecasts, resource capacity, delivery metrics, documentation, and executive dashboards.
• Track project KPIs and overall project health, providing timely status updates and escalation where required.

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager with strong Oracle EBS experience to lead complex enterprise application upgrade and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience managing end-to-end Oracle EBS upgrades, coordinating multiple technical and business workstreams, and driving projects through planning, execution, testing, deployment, hypercare, and closure.

The candidate must be comfortable working with U.S.-based teams and stakeholders across multiple time zones, with the majority of working hours overlapping U.S. business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle EBS Release 12.2.x upgrades.
• Familiarity with Oracle EBS functional areas, integrations, customizations, and supporting Oracle technologies.
• Experience working in regulated environments and/or global, multi‑business‑unit deployments.
• PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum, or similar project/program management certification.
• Previous experience with the client is a plus.
