Job summary

Lonza in Houston, Texas is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead IT application projects across a global, highly regulated life sciences organization. You will collaborate with international stakeholders and drive digital transformation to deliver value across the business.

The role requires 5+ years in project management within pharma or life sciences, experience with SAP, MES, cloud solutions or systems integrations, and certifications such as PMP and Agile Crum Master.

Qualifications

5+ years of project management in regulated life sciences or pharma.
Experience leading IT projects with SAP, MES, cloud solutions or integrations.
Proficient in waterfall, agile and hybrid project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT application projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define objectives and plans.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, assign responsibilities, and align milestones.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; manage changes, dependencies, and priorities.
Facilitate steering meetings and provide clear status updates to stakeholders.
Support change management, drive user adoption, and ensure regulatory compliance.
