Job summary

Ariel Partners is seeking a senior IT Project Manager in New York to lead medium to large-scale IT initiatives across multiple platforms. You will guide projects through the full lifecycle, manage schedules, budgets, and risks, and partner with executive leadership and business units to deliver high-value solutions.

The role requires strong SDLC knowledge, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to drive deliverables through cross-functional teams while maintaining program governance

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of lead IT project management on medium/large IT projects.
• Experience managing SDLC and business analysis methodologies for custom or out-of-the-box systems.
• Experience presenting to executive management and managing project budgets.
• Ability to coordinate cross-agency activities, resources, and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform IT project management duties including scheduling, risk management, resource allocation, and quality assurance.
• Gather requirements and document solutions with business stakeholders.
• Represent the PMO to executives and agency units during discovery and solution meetings.
• Lead regular technical solutioning meetings with diverse teams to ensure timely deliverables.
• Track deliverables and maintain status updates across projects and programs.
• Manage cross-team communications and escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with PMO and SDLC methodologies and industry best practices.
