The Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) within the General Services Administration is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead highly complex IT projects and manage telecommunications contracts and service offerings. Qualifications

• Experience managing complex IT projects, preferably in government contracting.
• Ability to provide authoritative technical guidance on project planning and execution.
• Mentoring and coaching junior staff in project management methods.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a senior expert Project Manager/COR for highly complex IT projects.
• Provide technical advice to GSA/FAS on project planning, execution and delivery.
• Prepare acquisition packages, SOWs, IGCEs, and acquisition plans.
• Evaluate contract proposals and track contract performance metrics.
