Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead complex projects from initiation through deployment in a matrix environment. You will drive scope, schedules, and deliverables while coordinating with customers, vendors and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a PMP certification, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and at least 10 years of experience managing SDLC, infrastructure, and network equipment projects using waterfall or iterative methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is highly preferred.
• PMI/ PMP certification is required or strongly preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience managing multiple medium/high complexity projects in a matrix environment.
• Experience influencing and managing project teams without direct reporting relationships.
• Experience with SDLC, Infrastructure and Network Equipment replacement projects.
• Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio and Project.
• Proficient use of Clarity PPM for project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams to determine scope, develop a workable plan and deploy the solution, serving as the primary project status reporting liaison.
• Develop and maintain all project management deliverables across the project lifecycle.
• Identify and manage project risks; develop risk management plans and monitor throughout lifecycle; coordinate with customer, vendors and team.
• Monitor vendor deliverables per binding statements of work.
