Job summary

MSM Technology seeks a Senior Information Technology Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of software development, app enhancement, and IT operations for the Department of State. You will serve as the main focal point for the project team, coordinating with COR, Government Technical Manager, and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality IT services and solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in statistics, computer science, mathematics, information technology, business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years, 10 years preferred, of experience planning, managing, and executing software development or information technology projects.
• Experience managing Agile development teams and facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
• Experience managing project schedules, deliverables, costs, quality, risks, and performance.
• Knowledge of IT operations, software development life cycle processes, and project management best practices.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and coordinate activities across business and technical teams.
• Experience managing customer relationships and communicating with government stakeholders, technical personnel, and senior leadership.
• Experience supporting the Department of State (DOS) is preferred.
• Experience supporting federal government customers or mission-focused IT programs is preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and meet DOS system-access and badging requirements.

• Provide program leadership and accountability for the execution of all project tasks.
• Offer strategic guidance, vision, and direction to the project team.
• Manage project plans and schedules to meet cost, schedule, quality, and performance requirements.
