Job summary

US Tech Solutions in Columbia, SC is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Business Analyst to lead end-to-end project delivery, manage scope/schedule/budget, and drive governance. You will develop plans, RAID logs, dashboards, and executive updates while coordinating IT, vendors, SMEs, and agency partners.

The role requires 7+ years in PM with complex initiatives, plus strong BA and process redesign skills. Onsite with eventual hybrid work, Bachelor’s degree, and PMP/PMI-ACP preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience with moderate to high complexity.
• Experience in business analysis and process redesign.
• 5+ years managing IT, regulatory, compliance, or enterprise initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, communication and resource coordination.
• Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, communication plans, status reports, and executive updates.
• Manage cross-functional teams including internal IT, vendors, SMEs, and agency partners.
• Facilitate work sessions to validate scope, requirements, and deliverables; maintain alignment with sponsors and stakeholders.
• Identify risks and issues; recommend and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support procurement processes as needed (RFPs, SOWs, vendor oversight).
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, security requirements, records management standards, and project governance frameworks.
• Lead structured requirements elicitation including interviews, workshops, journey mapping, process modeling, and data analysis.
• Document clear, testable requirements: business, functional, nonfunctional, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Define current-state and future-state processes, workflows, and data flows; quantify KPIs and business value.
• Translate requirements into solution designs with architecture, security, data, and infra teams.
• Evaluate build-vs-buy options and support diagrams, models, and integration patterns.

Change Management & Adoption

• Develop change management and communication plans.
• Coordinate UAT, cutover activities, readiness planning, and post-launch support.
• Support adoption using metrics, user feedback, and continuous improvement loops

Required skills

• Minimum 7 years project management experience with moderate to high complexity.
• Demonstrated experience in business analysis and process redesign.
• Minimum 5 years experience managing IT, regulatory, compliance, or enterprise-level initiatives.

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree required

Required Certifications

• PMP, PMI-ACP, or comparable certification preferred.

Location

Onsite (Columbia, SC) This position will be on site initially. Once acclimated, a hybrid schedule will be allowed.
