For our client, we are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will drive complex IT modernization initiatives supporting federal government programs, with a focus on coordinating multiple technical workstreams from planning through execution. You will partner closely with government stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams to keep scope, documentation, and delivery aligned. The position requires strong leadership across cloud, software, and cybersecurity efforts, along with disciplined tracking of milestones, KPIs, and project outcomes.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $183,000 – $230,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of IT modernization projects for federal government clients
• Develop integrated project plans and manage documentation across diverse workstreams
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams in cloud engineering, software development, and cybersecurity
• Act as a key liaison between government stakeholders and technical teams to ensure project success
• Monitor project performance through KPIs, reports, and metrics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
• Ten years of experience managing enterprise IT projects for federal government clients
• PMP certification required; Agile certifications such as CSM, PMI‑ACP, or SAFe preferred
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects in infrastructure, cloud, or cybersecurity
• Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and manage complex project scopes
