The Senior IT Project Manager leads the delivery of complex, high-impact technology initiatives across the organization. You will own multiple concurrent projects and programs from start to finish, keeping each aligned with business strategy, budget, and timeline. You will also serve as a strategic partner to IT and executive leadership, providing portfolio-level oversight and setting project management standards across the IT team.
Project and Program Delivery
- Lead complex, high-visibility IT projects and multi-project programs from initiation through closure
- Define scope, success criteria, resource plans, timelines, and budgets
- Build integrated project plans that account for cross-project dependencies and enterprise-wide impacts
- Support development of ServiceNow and other low-code/no-code applications
Portfolio Strategy and Advisory
- Partner with IT and executive leadership to prioritize the IT project portfolio, balancing business value, risk, and capacity
- Advise leadership on project sequencing, feasibility, delivery risk, and resourcing
Budget, Risk, and Change Management
- Oversee project and program budgets, including forecasting, variance analysis, and cost controls
- Collaborate with IT leadership and other departments on business cases and vendor proposals
Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders
- Deliver concise, outcome-focused status reporting to IT and executive leadership
- Facilitate steering meetings, executive updates, and post-implementation reviews
Standards, Vendors, and Team Development
- Define and enforce project management standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks across IT
- Use performance metrics and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement
- Manage key vendor relationships, performance, and issue resolution
- Mentor and coach Project Managers and other project resources
Required Experience
- 15+ years of project management experience within a legal or professional services organization
- Experience leading software development and infrastructure projects across the full project lifecycle
- Experience facilitating requirements-gathering sessions with key stakeholders
- Experience with ServiceNow and/or other low-code/no-code platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools such as MS Project or Monday.com
Preferred
- PMP, CAPM, or similar certification
