Job summary

Defense Information Systems Agency is recruiting for a leadership position focused on contract administration, program management, and network/security oversight in support of U.S. Cyber Command.

The role requires a strong background in IT management, budgeting, and telecom security. The selected candidate will coordinate complex projects, ensure lifecycle compliance, and lead teams across engineering and security disciplines within the Cyber Excepted Service framework.

Qualifications

• IT-related experience demonstrating the competencies appropriate to, or above, the level of this position.
• Experience evaluating information technology systems and ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
• Ability to briefing senior management and IT staff on status of systems and projects.

Responsibilities

• Performs contract administration by approving requirements, reviewing costs, developing specs, and monitoring contractor work.
• Plans and coordinates project implementation including network engineering and installation, and schedules interruptions.
• Develops program management tracking to ensure changes, upgrades and lifecycles are completed on schedule.
• Ensures security considerations and compatibility of emerging programs with telecommunications systems.
• Manages funds and tracks expenditures to ensure resources for projects or services.
