Job summary

CAI is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join its IT team in a full-time, hybrid role. The position involves managing multiple moderately complex projects, coordinating delivery across four technology platforms, and ensuring alignment with architecture and modernization goals.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of program management experience, strong governance and RAID/log management, and proficiency with tools like MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 8+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading multi-team technology initiatives in cloud environments such as AWS.
• Experience establishing and managing phase-gate or stage-gate governance for large-scale programs.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple delivery teams with interconnected dependencies and integrated release schedules.
• Strong expertise in schedule management, critical path analysis, resource planning, and program forecasting.
• Experience maintaining RAID logs and administering formal change management processes.
• Knowledge of Agile, hybrid, and phased project delivery methodologies.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Experience creating executive dashboards, status reporting, and steering committee materials.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage phase-based project schedules with clear ownership.
• Lead phase-gate governance, reviews, and decision logs.
• Coordinate multiple pods across four technology platforms with dependencies and release schedules.
• Facilitate cross-functional planning sessions and stakeholder reviews to identify blockers.
• Manage RAID logs and oversee formal change control processes.
• Monitor project health, resource capacity, and milestones; drive corrective actions.
• Prepare executive status reports and steering committee materials.
• Partner with business, technical, and consulting stakeholders to ensure delivery aligned with architecture, design, and modernization objectives.
• Promote project management best practices and governance standards across delivery teams.
