Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT.
• 7–10 years of IT experience.
• 5+ years of IT staff management.
• Strong communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial and open-source IT hardware, software, and services.
• Ability to manage a matrixed workforce and drive collaboration.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues with corrective actions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Long-term thinking and ability to apply new tech to improve services.
• Must have current security clearance and DoD 8140 / Security+ baseline.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT activities across infrastructure, applications, networks, and cloud.
• Ensure continuity of computer, network, and application services.
• Align IT services with business processes and customer needs.
• Perform technical analysis, estimates, and design reviews.
• Forecast costs and prepare budgets; manage budgets and reports.
• Recommend hardware/software upgrades for IT assets.
• Develop policies, standards, and procedures to improve delivery.
• Audit systems, ensure data/security protection, and maintain backups.
• Identify issues, analyze root causes, implement strategic solutions.
• Prepare long-range systems plans and oversee feasibility studies.
• Analyze business needs and propose scalable technical solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and manage assigned staff; recruit and review performance.
