Job summary

New-Indy Containerboard in the United States is seeking a hands-on IT/OT Senior Systems Engineer to strengthen our critical infrastructure that runs 24/7 manufacturing facilities. You will lead server management, backups, and high-availability across on-site data centers.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with VMware ESXi/vCenter, Dell PowerEdge hardware, and modern storage arrays (PowerStore/PowerMax/Nimble/Pure).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years in server management and IT networking.
• Experience with VMware ESXi/vCenter in 24/7/365 environments.
• Experience with enterprise storage arrays and backup solutions.
• Strong understanding of active directory and policy management.
• Comfort with on-site manufacturing IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead server management, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
• Manage IT networking and storage across multiple facilities.
• Provide SME guidance for OT/IT convergence and security.
• Support 24/7 operations with incident response.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
