Job summary

Zip is seeking a Senior Manager, IT Operations & Information Security to lead the team that keeps our employees productive and our corporate tech secure. You’ll own daily IT operations and the employee experience of technology, across our offices and remote locations.

This is a hands-on, player-coach role with a focus on AI-enabled IT tooling. You’ll build scalable IT processes, drive security standards, support SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audits, and partner with Engineering to align IT with Zip’s

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT operations and 3+ years leading IT teams.
• Proven track record at a growing technology company.
• Strong experience with Google Workspace and Okta.
• Experience managing IAM, endpoints, and security controls.
• Experience with SOC 2 / ISO 27001 audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily IT operations across time zones and on-call rotation.
• Own the employee technology lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
• Administer Google Workspace, Okta, Zoom; keep runbooks current.
• Manage endpoints, identity, access, and device lifecycle.
• Oversee office networking, Zoom Rooms, and AV systems.
• Lead security operations and incident response; coordinate audits.
• Build AI-native IT tooling and automations.
• Set access/logging standards for AI tools and agents.
• Hire, coach, manage budgets and measure outcomes.
