Job summary

Invenergy, LLC is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and support its enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure, with focus on reliability, security, and NERC CIP compliance. You will work with Cisco routers/switches, Palo Alto firewalls, and Aruba wireless products in a hybrid in-office/remote setting.

The role requires 3+ years in enterprise networking, scripting, and strong communication. Travel may be required; eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• 3+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Experience with Cisco routers and switches (layer 2/3).
• Experience with wireless networks (APs/controllers).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN networks using Cisco devices.
• Deploy and manage Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, and security policies.
• Implement Aruba wireless access, controllers, APs, and ClearPass.
• Monitor network health; optimize performance and resolve bottlenecks.
• Ensure NERC CIP compliance through documentation and audits.
• Develop runbooks, diagrams, and SOPs; collaborate on delivery and incident response.
• Create and maintain automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Participate in 24×7 on-call rotation for critical support.
