Job summary
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an IT Network Engineer Staff IV/V to architect and implement enterprise LAN/WAN and data center networks in a Cisco-dominated environment. The role spans design, deployment, and security for nationwide sites, with a focus on scalable, high-availability infrastructure.
You will operate onsite in El Segundo, CA, collaborating with network professionals and stakeholders. Candidates should have extensive experience with Cisco SDWAN/IWAN, ACI, Nexus Data Center
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 10+ years of related experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- Expert-level experience with Cisco ACI and Nexus Data Center switches
- Extensive firewall knowledge including Cisco ASA and Firepower
Responsibilities
- Architect next-generation enterprise WAN solutions with Cisco SDWAN/IWAN and dual WAN links
- Design and deploy scalable data center networks using Cisco SDN technologies
- Ensure robust security with Firepower and ASA firewalls
