Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks an IT Network Engineer Staff IV/V to architect and implement enterprise LAN/WAN and data center networks in a Cisco environment. The role is onsite in El Segundo, CA, supporting both classified and unclassified networks with a focus on security and scalable design.

Responsibilities include WAN design, data center networking, firewall strategy, and collaboration with stakeholders to meet budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required with US citizenship.
• 15+ years of experience for Staff V; 10+ years for Staff IV in enterprise CONUS networks.
• Expert knowledge of Cisco SDWAN/IWAN, ACI, Nexus Data Center switches.

Responsibilities

• Architect next-generation WAN solutions with dual WAN links (MPLS & Internet).
• Design and deploy scalable data center networks using Cisco SDN (ACI).
• Develop secure network segments with Cisco Firepower/ASA firewalls.
• Collaborate with DevOps lab to test network designs in El Segundo.
• Coordinate tasks, schedules, budgets, and stakeholder requirements.
