Job summary
The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA seeks an IT Network Engineer to architect and implement enterprise LAN/WAN and data center networks in a Cisco-dominated environment. You will join a team of network professionals supporting national security missions and will work onsite at our El Segundo location.
Required qualifications include 15+ years in CONUS network operations, TS/SCI clearance, and deep expertise with Cisco SDWAN/IWAN, ACI, Nexus switches, Firepower/ASA firewalls, and advanced
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Experience with enterprise CONUS network operations
- Active TS/SCI clearance; US citizenship required
- Expert-level knowledge of Cisco SDWAN/IWAN, ACI, and Nexus data center switches
Responsibilities
- Architect next-generation networks with Cisco SDWAN/IWAN and dual WAN links
- Design scalable data center networks using Nexus and SDN technologies
- Develop secure network segments using Cisco Firepower/ASA firewalls
- Collaborate with DevOps in the El Segundo lab and coordinate with stakeholders
- Assist in budgeting and strategic initiatives for Network Services
