The role covers information systems, telecommunications, and security across a manufacturing environment. The position requires extensive IT leadership, budgeting, policy enforcement, and disaster recovery planning, with responsibility for IT operations and project management within a 24/7 manufacturing

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technology support, maintenance and IT management.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/equivalent.
• Certifications in network, technology components, project management.
• Strong problem solving and communications skills required.
• Strong knowledge of security principles and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment, support, and maintenance of IT systems, servers, security solutions, network hardware, PCs, operating systems, telephones and software applications.
• Provide expertise during upgrades, installations, conversions and file maintenance.
• Lead IT staff: set expectations, coach, and manage performance within policies.
• Verify system results via audits of implemented technologies.
• Coordinate resources and execute project plans within budget.
• Develop disaster recovery plans to maintain business continuity.
• Plan upgrades to network software as updates are released.
• Create and maintain documentation for systems, licenses, and modifications.
• Manage end-user services, including help desk and support.
