Nkarta, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager/Associate Director, Information Technology to lead Nkarta’s IT function as the company advances its NK cell therapy programs toward pivotal trials and commercialization.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting a clinical-/biotech-stage company with scaling IT systems and regulatory demands.
• Hands-on expertise in network, server, cloud, and end-user computing environments.
• Strong knowledge of CSV, 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, and data integrity for IT systems.
• Experience administering enterprise/scientific apps (e.g., M365, ERP, eQMS).
• Security program development with cyber and risk-management focus.
• Budgeting for IT and managing external MSPs/vendors with SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Own IT strategy, infrastructure, systems, and security for Nkarta.
• Support day-to-day IT operations and end-user needs hands-on.
• Directly manage one IT FTE and an outsourced IT firm/MSP.
• Design and maintain network, server, cloud, and end-user computing infrastructure.
• Own cybersecurity program including IAM, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Ensure GxP-regulated systems are validated and compliant (21 CFR Part 11).
• Administer core applications in partnership with business owners (M365, ERP, lab systems, eQMS).
• Manage IT budget, vendor contracts, and the MSP’s SLAs/performance.
• Partner across functions to support clinical trials and commercialization aims.
• Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
