Job summary

Wakefern Food Corp. in Edison, NJ, seeks a Senior Technology Auditor to plan and perform IS/IT audits, advise management, and coordinate with external firms.

You will interact with technology and business management on IT operation changes and emerging technologies, contributing to the tech audit plan and managing budgets. This role requires strong auditing skills, independent work, and collaboration within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in IT-related field or business admin.
• Professional certifications (CISA, CISSP, CRISC or CIA) strongly preferred.
• 3–5 years of prior audit experience.
• Strong understanding of IT processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit engagements from risk assessment to issue closure.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of IT controls.
• Prepare work papers and review others' work papers.
• Identify control enhancements and process improvements.
• Present findings and coordinate action with stakeholders.
• Audit key systems functionality; participate in SDLC reviews.
• Participate in disaster recovery testing and external SOC-1 reviews.
• Use ACL, QMF, Excel and other tools for data analytics.

Education

Four-year college degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or other IT-related disciplines
