Job summary

Ahold Delhaize is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to join our Internal Audit team in the United States. You will lead technology-focused audits, assess risks and controls, and partner with business and technology leaders to drive continuous improvement in a dynamic retail and digital environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Management, or a related field
• 4-8 years of IT audit/technology risk experience in multinational or large retailer environments
• Experience assessing risks and controls across cloud, SAP, cybersecurity, enterprise apps, digital platforms, infra, store tech, or supply chain systems
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, AZ-500 or equivalent
• Experience leading audit engagements from planning through reporting
• Strong project management and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate complex topics to senior leaders
• Understanding of emerging technologies including cloud, automation, AI, and analytics
• Ability to travel within the United States up to 10-20%

Responsibilities

• Leading risk assessments, audit planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up activities
• Assessing the design and effectiveness of technology and business controls
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls, and risk management practices
• Translating complex observations into clear, actionable recommendations
• Presenting findings to management and senior stakeholders
• Coaching and supporting team members during audit engagements
• Building strong relationships across business and technology functions
• Identifying emerging risks and shaping the future audit plan
