Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to join Internal Audit, working at the intersection of business and technology across a diverse portfolio of technology-enabled processes and initiatives.

You will lead technology-focused audits, evaluate risks and controls, and translate complex observations into practical recommendations for senior leaders. This hybrid role offers broad exposure, collaboration with diverse teams, and ongoing professional growth in a global retail organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Management, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of IT audit or technology risk experience in a multinational or large retail setting.
• Experience assessing risks across cloud, SAP, cybersecurity, enterprise apps, and data platforms.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, AZ-500 or equivalent are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk assessments, audit planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up.
• Assess design and effectiveness of technology and business controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and risk management.
• Translate complex observations into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Present findings to management and mentor audit team members.
• Build relationships across business and technology functions and help shape the audit plan.
