Job summary

Sinte Gleska University seeks a full-time faculty member to teach in the Computer Technology and Data Entry program, contribute to curriculum development, advise students, and participate in program assessment. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT information or Technology or closely related field is required.
• Master’s degree in Technology preferred.
• Minimum of 5–10 years of professional experience in a related industry field.
• Minimum of five years of teaching experience in higher education or equivalent instructional experience.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace applications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and teach courses within the Computer Technology and Data Entry curriculum in accordance with the SGU full-time faculty contract.
• Develop, plan, and submit course schedules for each academic semester in coordination with the Department Chair and Director.
• Prepare and submit program budgets in a timely manner in collaboration with the Department Chair and Director.
• Maintain professional verbal and written communication with students, faculty, staff, administrators, and the public in accordance with SGU policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with department faculty, staff, and administrators to support departmental goals and contribute positively to the academic unit.
• Maintain accurate and ongoing student degree plan records in collaboration with the Department Chair and Director throughout the academic year.
