Job summary

Sinte Gleska University in Mission, South Dakota seeks a faculty member to instruct in the Computer Technology and Data Entry program and contribute to the Institute of Technologies Department through teaching, curriculum development, student advising, and program assessment.

Qualifications

• Requires at least a Bachelor's degree in IT/Technology or related field.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in a related field.
• At least five years of teaching in higher education or equivalent.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the Computer Technology and Data Entry curriculum.
• Develop and submit course schedules for each semester.
• Prepare and submit program budgets with Chair and Director.
• Maintain professional communication with students and staff.
• Advise and mentor students enrolled in the program.
• Participate in curriculum development and program assessment.
