Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex IT initiatives spanning infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, networking, and enterprise systems. You will develop project plans, coordinate technical resources, and drive schedules, dependencies, risks, and deliverables across teams and vendors.

The role emphasizes ensuring security standards, operational objectives, and business requirements are met while maintaining project visibility and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5–8 years of IT project management experience, or a Master's with 3–6 years.
• PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IT project management principles, risk management, and delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of Smartsheet for planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.
• Experience with cloud, security, networking, and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and enterprise technology projects within scope and schedule.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans with milestones and dependencies.
• Balance priorities and manage risks to meet milestones.
• Coordinate activities across cloud, data centers, networking, identity, and enterprise apps.
• Collaborate on system architecture reviews, migration planning, and production cutovers.
• Facilitate design reviews and readiness assessments across dev, test, and prod environments.
• Identify risks and escalate issues beyond authority with actionable solutions.
• Assess scope changes for impacts on schedule, cost, and compliance, proposing adjustments.
• Define success criteria and report progress, risks, and decisions to leadership.
• Align IT teams, stakeholders, vendors, and leadership on objectives and deliverables.
• Conduct meetings and reviews to resolve dependencies and communicate status.
• Support knowledge transfer and transition to operations after delivery.
