Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions in the Tampa area is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead infrastructure projects on a W2 basis, with visa sponsorship available. The role requires coordinating cross-functional IT and vendor teams to deliver multiple concurrent infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities include project planning, scheduling, risk management, budgeting, and ensuring adherence to SDLC standards. Strong leadership and stakeholder communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required and will be verified.
• PM certification (PMP) is required.
• Minimum 7 years of project management experience.
• Strong background in IT infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing SAP-related IT projects.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience coordinating vendor resources.
• Vendor management experience for IT projects.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) is required.
• Strong documentation skills for forecasting time, cost, resources and labor.
• Strong leadership, planning, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple IT infrastructure projects simultaneously (typically 3–5).
• Coordinate with construction project managers and cross-functional IT teams.
• Work with hardware, network, and telecommunications teams on purchasing and deployment.
• Facilitate project meetings and maintain minutes.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones and progress tracking.
• Maintain RAID logs, budgets and resource allocation.
• Define scope, obtain cost estimates, and assign resources.
• Communicate project status and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure documentation is complete and stored in repository.
• Adhere to SDLC and infrastructure project standards.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Translate technical information for business audiences.
