Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a Senior Intern to participate in our formal internship program, applying advanced academic knowledge to support strategic initiatives and gain hands-on exposure to IT infrastructure. You will work with business leaders and cross-functional teams to learn, analyze, and deliver meaningful results during a ten-week program located in Chicago, IL or Richardson, TX.

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor's degree; rising senior with a major in computer science, information technology, or information systems.
Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
Available for the full duration of the 10-week program
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available for this role

Responsibilities

Own components of project work and deliverables with guidance from an assigned mentor and manager
Conduct research, analyze data and information, and develop recommendations that inform real business decisions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Support departmental initiatives that improve business outcomes and the member and client experience
Develop and deliver a final internship presentation to department leadership covering the project, results, and recommendations
Maintain complete confidentiality of company business and comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, and applicable compliance policies
