Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) is offering a ten-week paid Infrastructure Service Delivery Analyst Intern program in Chicago, IL. You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze information, support project work, and learn about IT infrastructure, JSON, Python, PowerShell, and related tools while gaining increasing independence.

Candidates pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/IS, with a 3.0+ GPA and availability for the full duration, will contribute meaningfully to business

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/IS with graduation 2027–2028.
• Interest or experience in data analytics, IT systems, platforms or tools.
• Understanding of JSON, Python, PowerShell, Bash and/or SQL.
• Understanding of Power BI.
• Interest in healthcare payer industry.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Office 365 and collaboration tools (MS Teams, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Own components of project work with mentor guidance.
• Conduct research, analyze data to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Support initiatives to improve outcomes for members and clients.
• Deliver a final internship presentation to leadership.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and policies.
